With a compatible interactive rod/pole/wand you can put life into the toy, so that it can wiggle, creep, fly or dart around the room. Your cats’ speed and grace will amaze you as they dash around trying to capture the prey!

The Mayfly averages 5 inches from end to end plus feather wings. The head is black yarn with a colorful yarn mid-section. The main body/tail is a strip of buffalo leather with hair on and facing up (underside is bare leather). All combine to give this fun attachment a unique feel for you kitty! The connection to the wand toy is made with a braided cord loops securely fixed to the leather core at the nose and top, so you can connect it from 2 places for a different action on the pole line.

This is a natural hair attachment and handmade, so leather, hair and feather wing color, size, hair length, leather thickness and amount of each hair type will vary. Remember the wings are feathers and can come off with your cat in play. That does not render the attachment broken. Yarn color will be random. The tail section is a strip of leather with hair on, so it is not solid and stiff. It will be floppy in play.

We designed our attachments to not have ink, dyes, glue, metal or plastic! The main body is 100% Buffalo hair with Deer hair stripes and soft Deer leather, giving this attachment a unique feel with the soft Buffalo and bristly deer hair The core of of this attachment is Buffalo leather, not a metal pin with a bead glued on the end or a plastic tube like other mouse style attachments. This is the safest design out there for mouse style attachments. And the Buffalo and Deer hides used to make our toys come from Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, NOT China.
